Safety first

In our specialties, the gear used, is part of safety and fun for our guests. Can you imagine a multiday kayaking  expedition in an old kayak with no rudder or a broken seatin system? A raft trip with a couple of stops on the way to pump up the thwarts? I guess no and nor do we.  That is why we use the best brands and models available. Our AIRE rafts and Wilderness Systems sea kayaks are made in the USA and we renew all  our gear periodically.

Quality of our services

The priority; ensure, safety and quality in our service, Our objective, is that once you sign in any of our excursions, you will say it was your best experience in your stay in Chile.

Office in Puerto Varas and Base in Ensenada

End of 2004, we built a a shed for our gear, and offices at the foothills of Calbuco and Osorno Volcanoes, we are footsteps away from Llanquihue Lake, and 10 minutes from the petrohué River and Todos los Santos Lake.
Ensenada is set in a privileged location for outdoor activities in the south of Chile. We have at your disposal all of our facilities with Restaurant, bathrooms, changing rooms, parking and camping facilities.  Come visit and have a cup of coffee in front of the Volcanoes. Our Office, located downtown Puerto Varas,  (San Pedro 311), is a good source of information and the best way to plan your days around. We also rent gear at both our locations.

In the beginning, two French guides, in love with Patagonia, decided to stay in this beautiful country.
Today, Ko’KayaK is a multidisciplinary team, with 80% of the staff from Chile.
All of our guides are qualified in wilderness First Aid and Swift Water Rescue (www.iria.org) .

We all speak a minimum of two languages.
